Meghalaya Real Estate (“Megh Estates”, “we”) operates meghestates.in from Rynjah, Shillong, Meghalaya, India. This page says plainly what we collect, why, and who ever sees it.
What we collect, and when
- Enquiries and visit bookings — your name, mobile number, the property concerned, your chosen visit time, and any note you type. We collect this to call you back and to conduct the visit; that is the entire purpose.
- Owner submissions — your name, number, optional email, and the property details and photos you share so our team can come and see it.
- Payments — visit fees are processed by Cashfree. Your card, UPI or netbanking details go directly to Cashfree and never touch our servers; we receive only the order reference, payment reference, amount and status.
- Usage analytics and marketing — we use Google Analytics and Meta’s conversion measurement to understand which pages work. These involve cookies and identifiers set by those providers, and they load only after you choose “Accept all” in our cookie notice. Choosing “Only necessary” keeps them off entirely. Either choice is remembered in a cookie for twelve months; clear the site’s cookies to be asked again.
- On your device only — saved properties and recent searches live in your browser’s local storage. They never reach our servers, and clearing your browser data removes them.
- Our own page counter — we count page views on our own server with no cookie and no identifier: a number goes up, nothing about you is recorded. This is why it runs regardless of your cookie choice.
Who ever sees it
Our own team, to do the work you asked for. Beyond that, only the processors named above — Cashfree (payments), Google (analytics), Meta (ad measurement), Cloudinary (photo storage) — each receiving only what its job requires. We notify our team of new enquiries through Telegram. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we disclose it only if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
Enquiries, bookings and payment records are kept as business records. Owner photos are used for triage only and are deleted when a submission is removed. Message us on WhatsApp at +91 93625 45155 from the number you used, and we will delete your enquiry data on request, except records we must keep for accounting or law.
